Sigmaphi is an industrial group dedicated to the design and creation of high technology equipment destined for research centres, health-care industries and energy sectors. Closely linked to these objectives are the creation of wealth as well as strong human values, and a contribution to the development of its clients, as well as a contribution to the Sigmaphi group consisting of family-sized companies which are flexible and responsive.

Sigmaphi was created in 1981 and has grown thanks to innovation and exporting its products. In 2016 Sigmaphi had a turnover of €32 million, of which 95% was from exports.

Sigmaphi’s group history

Sigmaphi was created in 1981 and has developed through innovation and internationalization. Sigmaphi employs 200 people in its 4 companies Sigmaphi Magnets, Sigmaphi Electronics, Sigmaphi China, Sigmaphi Japan.

1997 1st equipment for protontherapy for the Boston MGH hospital through IBA

2001 1st superconducting magnets for CERN LHC

2008 Creation of Sigmaphi China

2009 Development of pulsed systems and creation of Sigmaphi Japan

 

2012 Development of beam lines and 1st installation at Tohoku (Japan)

2013 Creation of Sigmaphi Electronics with the take over of the electronics department of Bruker, world leader of NMR systems.
